A man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing at a luxury building in London next to the US embassy.
Abdul Kareem Fawaz faced charges of murder and possession of a knife when he appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred early on Saturday morning at DAMAC Tower near Vauxhall Station, where emergency services discovered a man suffering from knife wounds.
The building, located adjacent to the US embassy, was placed into lockdown.
Daniel Manuel was pronounced dead at the scene

Emergency responders discovered a 32-year-old man with severe stab wounds at the scene.
Despite medical intervention by paramedics, the victim was pronounced dead at the location.
While formal identification procedures are still pending, authorities have named the victim as Daniel Manuel.
Metropolitan Police has confirmed that his family members have been notified of his death and are receiving support from specially trained officers during this difficult period.

Correspondence sent to residents, obtained by GB News, revealed that lift services had been suspended at police request.
The message said: "We would like to assure you that the building is secure, and there is no cause for concern with your safety.
"As a precautionary measure, the police have requested that the elevators be temporarily unavailable while they conduct their investigation."
One resident, speaking on condition of anonymity, told this broadcaster that deliveries had been blocked by management and that the building was essentially on "lockdown".

GB NewsTwo individuals were detained at the scene, including Fawaz and a 33-year-old man who has since been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Aytac Necati, who is leading the investigation, said: "Sadly, a man has lost his life in the most horrendous of circumstances. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
"We understand the effect this will have on the local community and will ensure that officers are deployed on reassurance patrols to respond to any questions or concerns.
"Two men have already been arrested. Detectives are working hard to establish the circumstances of what happened. At this time, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident."
